Each team may register up to 4 contestants, along with one Team Leader and one Deputy Team Leader (the Deputy is required if 4 contestants are registered).

Please note that a registration fee of 250 EUR per team will be charged in 2026 prior to the event. Team Leaders will be contacted directly regarding payment details and further registration information.

The IAIO 2026 organizers will provide accommodation, meals, and local transport for all contestants and team leaders. Accommodation will be arranged at the Eurostars U Hotel.

IMPORTANT TO NOTICE:

  • The Host is not responsible for any additional costs beyond the services we mentioned in invitation letter.
  • The Host does not undertake to organize and cover any services for those arriving or departing outside the period of 23rd of February to 27th of February, 2026. ​
  • Please note that you will be responsible for your medical insurance. ​
  • The costs of international travel to/from Slovenia are also not covered by the Host.

Organized by the International Research Centre on Artificial Intelligence (IRCAI) at Jožef Stefan Institute, IAIO brings together the brightest young minds to compete in theoretical and practical AI challenges. The next IAIO 2026 will be held February 23-27, 2026, in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
